Our students also participate in an annual pilgrimage, usually in September, as part of their preparation for the November Cambridge examinations. This journey provides a moment of prayer, reflection, and communal bonding, reminding learners of the importance of faith and inner strength during demanding academic seasons.

Another important highlight of our spiritual calendar is the Feast of the Sacred Heart, celebrated every June. This celebration brings the entire school community together to honour our patron, Fr. Coindre, and to reflect on the love, compassion, and mission that inspire all that we do at Sacred Heart College.

Our Spirituality

At Sacred Heart College, spiritual formation is an essential part of our identity. As a Catholic institution, we continually create spaces for students to grow in faith, deepen their values, and strengthen their relationship with God. Our learners take part in regular prayer moments, school liturgies, and meaningful religious celebrations that help them live out the teachings of the Church in their daily lives

Mass is central to our spiritual life. We hold midweek Mass every Thursday and a weekend Mass on Sunday for boarders and members of the surrounding community. The Thursday Mass is exempted only when we celebrate our First Friday Mass, which takes place on the first Friday of each month. During such weeks, the First Friday liturgy replaces the Thursday Mass. Every first Friday of each term, we also observe a Recollection and Opening Mass, offering students a time for renewal, reflection, and spiritual grounding.
